ABOUT AYABA

Established in Lagos Nigeria, AYABA is a global ready-to-wear and pre-order fashion brand that caters to the queen in every woman by creating elevated staples that boost confidence and spark joy.

The brainchild of founder Tomiwa Shomuyiwa (@whatsuptomiwa), AYABA was birthed in 2010 while she was in the university studying Mass Communication. She went on to manage AYABA as a side hustle alongside her studies and into her early career years as a PR executive. In 2018, she put a hold on her blossoming PR career to pursue her dreams of growing AYABA into a global brand that caters to women of all shapes, colours, ages and sizes all over the world, by providing them with quality, versatile and timeless pieces that make them feel confident in their skin without breaking the bank.

AYABA means Queen in Yoruba language, and at AYABA we truly believe that every woman is a queen whose confidence shines even brighter adorned in her AYABA outfits.
